Two ways for time to travel
Each connection between two calendars is a sync, and every sync has a direction and a payload. There are two directions, and a payload that starts at the minimum and only grows if you decide it should.

- Two calendars keep each other honest. Book in either and the other blocks the time. Use it between the accounts that are all equally yours.
- Push
- One calendar feeds another and never the reverse. Use it when a client needs to see that you are busy but has no business writing to your diary.

Three fields, unless you have told this particular sync to carry more. Nothing on the left reaches the other calendars because you have not asked it to — not because it is queued up behind a setting we hope you never find.
Busy is all that crosses over
Privacy by default, not by setting
A mirrored event carries a start, an end and the word Busy. The title, the guest list, the location and the notes stay in the calendar they were created in. You can let any of them travel on a particular sync — including whether a block is a meeting or your own time — but that is a switch you find and flip, never one we set for you.

Whatever you already use
Personal Gmail and a Workspace account. Microsoft 365 and an old Outlook.com address. Apple Calendar. Fastmail or Proton over CalDAV. Mix them freely — busywait does not care whose calendar it is.
Seconds, not a quarter of an hour
Change-driven, not polled
busywait listens for changes from each provider rather than sweeping every calendar on a timer, so a booking is reflected almost immediately. The one loop that spins here is ours, not yours.
