What a confirmed booking creates
A booking is a real event, so it is worth being exact about where it lands and what it says.
- One event, in the calendar you nominate
- You pick the destination calendar for each link. Your other calendars pick it up through the syncs you already have, as busy.
- The details the booker gave you
- Their name, their email address and anything you asked for on the form, in the event you own. What travels onward to your other calendars is still a start, an end and busy.
- A confirmation to them
- The person booking gets a confirmation at the email address they gave, so the booking is in their diary as well as yours.
- A last check before it is written
- When someone confirms, the slot is checked again against the calendars selected for that link. Something added to a calendar moments earlier may not have reached BusyWait yet, so a clash is unlikely, not impossible.
